EXTENSION IN MASTERTON BOROUGH

(“Times-Age” Special)

It was reported at today’s meeting of the Wairarapa Electric Power Board that the Masterton Borough Council had approved of the recommendation of the board for the extension of mercury vapour street lighting. The council had ordered another eight lamps as a further step towards the ultimate scheme of having all main and arterial roads illuminated with the very latest method of lighting.
