CHURCH OF ENGLAND

SALE OF WORK. Parishioners and their friends will have the opportunity of giving practical help to the work of the Church of England in Masterton at the annual sale of work to be held in the Parish Hall on Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is free. Produce of all kinds, cakes, sweets, novelties, books, as well as plain and fancy sewing work will be on sale. Afternoon tea will be available. The parish has had recently to face heavy expenses for repairs, and in addition the Ladies’ Guild hopes to raise sufficient money to carry out very essential improvements to the grounds. All church members are asked to help in this special effort.
