ST. MATTHEW’S CONCERT

No doubt many Masterton residents will remember the splendid concert given by the pupils of St. Matthew’s Collqgiate School last year. Those who attended that concert will certainly be delighted to hear that the pupils will give a similar concert on Thursday, October 20 in the Opera House, commencing at 7.45 p.m. There will be excellent drill, apparatus work (spectacular vaults), piano solos and trios, skipping and dancing of all kinds, national dances (Greek, Scotch, Irish and Scandinavian) being included. The juniors will perform some exercises well worth seeing. The standard of the concert promises to be even higher than that of last year. Patrons are assured of an excellent evening’s entertainment. Tickets are selling rapidly and may be obtained from the school pupils or at the Arts and Crafts where seats may be reserved free of charge.
