BOWLING

MASTERTON CLUB. (Notes by "The Bowler.’’) On Saturday afternoon next, and on Monday, the Masterton Bowling Club, as is their custom, will hold a tournament. In previous years, this tourney has been a great success, and the players have thoroughly enjoyed themselves. A cordial invitation is extended to bowlers of other clubs, to participate in the tourney, and the secretary will be pleased to receive nominations. Entries will close on Thursday next, and the committee will be glad if all those desirous of competing, will make their entries as soon as possible. Play will commence at 1.30 p.m. on Saturday, and at 9 a.m. on Monday.
