GREYTOWN

TABLE TENNIS CLUB. (“Times-Age” Special.) The Greytown Methodist Table Tennios Club closed its season last night. Visitors were present from the Carterton Methodist Club. A doubles competition was held. After an interesting series of matches the competition was won by Mrs Vennell (Carterton) and Mr A. Webster (Greytown). Miss N. Keltie and Mr M. Hobson (both of Grey town) were runners-up. During supper the club captain welcomed the visitors and the prizes were presented. Mr L. Hunt and the Rev H. White, of Carterton, replied on behalf of the visitors. Personal. Mr W. Smith, of the railway staff, Woodside, and Mr E. Maddison, Postmaster of Greytown, are on their annual leave. Dairy Industry. The dairy season is now in full swing. The Greytown dairy factory is now operating 8 vats.
