f ENJOYABLE FUNCTION. A gift evening in honour of Miss Nedda Hubball and Mr Hope Cross, who are to be married on Saturday, was given by Mrs A. L. Askew in the Savage Club- Rooms last evening, there being a large number of guests present. Dancing and games filled the time pleasantly. Askew asked Miss Hubball to accept the splendid array of useful presents. Mr Hope Cross suitably thanked those present for their gifts.
