MASTERTON SEAT

MR J. ROBERTSON SPEAKS AT MANGAMAIRE.

Mr J. Robertson, Labour candidate for the Masterton seat, addressed a well-attended meeting of electors at Mangamaire last night. Mr A. W. Burgess presided. A small group of strangers to the district was present and was responsible for interjections during the course of Mr Robertson’s address. The candidate dealt with transport, social security and the general policy of the Government.

At the conclusion of his address he was accorded a vote of thanks and appreciation was expressed of his services to the district as member.
