HERR FUNK’S MISSION
GUEST OF THE TURKISH GOVERNMENT PROPAGANDA IN BALKANS. GERMAN PRESTIGE RISING. (Received This Day, 12.10 p.m.) LONDON. October 5. The Istanbul correspondent of “The Times” says Herr Funk (German Economics Minister) has arrived and has gone to Angora, where he will be the guest of the Government until October 8. It is expected that Herr Funk will take the opportunity of developing further traditional German propaganda in the Balkans, where it cannbt be denied that recent events have enhanced Germany’s prestige.
