ST. JOHN AMBULANCE
NURSING DIVISION. At a meeting of the Nursing Division of St John Ambulance, held in the Lecture Room, Municipal Hall, Dr Helen Cowie gave the final lecture for the year, taking for her subjects: — “The nursing of surgical cases; care of wounds, dressings, prevention of sepsis; the nursing of children, convalescence.” The large attendance of members greatly appreciated the lecture. At a business meeting held subsequently arrangements were made for the proposed shop day.
