GERMAN FORCES MOBILE & AWAITING ORDERS PRIVATE TRANSPORT VEHICLES COMMANDEERED. TRUCKS LOADING IN BARRACK YARDS. (Received This Day, 12.20 p.m.) LONDON, September 22. The “Daily Telegraph’s” Munich correspondent says all troops are mobile and in readiness awaiting orders to move towards Czechoslovakia. Thousands of private vehicles have been commandeered by the military authorities. Hundreds of motor lorries are loading military supplies in barrack yards. MAGINOT LINE MANNED NO LEAVE FOR GARRISON. DAY & NIGHT WATCH ON FRONTIER. (Received This Day. 12.20 p.m.) METZ, September 22. All members of the garrison are confined to barracks. The Maginot Line is manned and planes are patrolling the frontier day 1 and night. DENMARK NEXT? MINORITY DEMONSTRATIONS IN SLESVIG. ORGANISED BY NAZIS. (Received This Day. 9.50 a.m.) COPENHAGEN, September 22. German minorities in Slesvig Province are holding demonstrations organised by Nazis in favour of Germany.
