Improvements.—With the co-opera-tion of the school committee, we were able to procure a pavilion for the club during the season. This cost was met out of the club’s special funds. Special thanks are due to the lady members of the club, particularly in regard to the afternoon tea arrangemenas. The annual dance, at which trophies won during the year were presented, was most successful, and it was very pleasing to find that the club had made a small profit. Our appreciation of the social committee, to whom much of the success of the dance was due, is acknowledged with thanks. The only interclub games during the season was with members of Waiwetu, when a most enjoyable time was spent on our courts, and when Lansdowne journeyed to Waiwetu this was reciprocated. We hope that the club will be able to make these visits an annual event. It is with regret that we acknowledge the resignation of our president, Mr A. W. Scott, owing to transfer to Hamilton. Mr Scott carries with him the appreciation of each member, and his many kindnesses to the club will be long remembered. In conclusion we wish to thank all members for the interest shown to the club throughout the_ season, and also to the Press. The report is signed for the committee by Mr J. G. McFarlane, chairman. ______
