RESOLUTION BY CONFERENCE OF COMMITTEES BETTER FACILITIES WANTED. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, September 22. A comprehensive survey of swimming facilities throughout the Dominion was discussed by the School Committees’ conference today. The conference reaffirmed that swimming should be made a compulsory subject for all physically fit children, and that the Government's attention should be drawn to the inadequate and dangerous facilities in use. It was decided to hold next year’s conference in Auckland.
