MASTERTON RACES
NEV/ DATES FOR SPRING MEETING OCTOBER 12 AND 13 SELECTED In order to meet the wishes of owners and trainers, the stewards of the Masterton Racing Club, at a meeting held last night, decided to hold the spring race meeting on Wednesday and Thursday, October 12 and 13. The original dates were Thursday and Saturday, October 13 and 15, but as the latter day was selected as the date of polling for the general election, it was considered advisable to change the racing days.
