BUGLE BAND

APPEARANCE IN QUEEN STREET

Appearing for thq first time in full uniform, the Masterion Central School Bugle Band, which marched through Queen Street yesterday, created a most favourable impression. Fifteen strong, the boys looked particularly smart in the jerseys provided by the School Parents’ Association, and people in shops flocked to the doors to see and hear the boys as they marched down tne street. The band is proving a useful accessory to the school, as every morning the children assemble to the tunes of the bugle. Keen interest is being shown by the children in the band, especially in being able to secure a position as a playing member.
