LEAGUE OF MOTHERS
MEETING ON WEDNESDAY NEXT At the meeting of the Masterton League of Mothers, in the St Matthew’s Parish Hall on Wednesday next, at 2.30 p.m., an address on kindergarten work will be given by Mrs E. H. Dowsett, organising secretary of the Wellington Free Kindergarten Council. Mothers with young children are specially invited to attend. Mothers with young children are specially invited to attend. Mrs Dowsett will' speak of the interesting work which is being done Wellington, of the way in which the tiny child is being educated and cared for and of the co-operation that is established between school and home. It is the aim of the kindergartens to study the child as an individual and to provide the environment and surroundings that will ensure development. Kindergarten training lays allimportant foundations. Mrs Dowsett will have something to say about the methods used, and will also touch upon the training of students and the development of the workers’ club movement.
