Ottawa, Canada.—lndicative of improved economic conditions in the Dominion, official figures show that 54,616 parties of Canadian tourists took automobile trips into the United States in the month of April last, as compared with 39,718 in the corresponding month of 1937. These figures not only reflect improved conditions, but the ever-in-creased friendliness between Canadian and United States people.
