DAFFODIL SHOW
Entries for the Horticultural Society’s Daffodil Show, to be held in the Muncipal Hall, Masterton on next ( Wednesday are already being received by the secretary in such volume as to indicate that this year’s Show will prove an outstanding success. Those exhibitors who have not yet placed their entries should arrange to do so at once for the closing time is definitely/ fixed at noon on next Tuesday. Schedules which are obtainable from the Secretary, show that in all, there are 134 classes comprising Daffodils and Cut Fowers, open, amateur and novices’ classes, photography and decorative for adults and children. The decorative section should be of particular interest to all, providing as it does, scope for those with an aptitude for arranging flowers. In this section there are four classes for children under the age of sixteen years, and there is a special class—decorated table—for secondary girls’ schools in the Masterton district.
