BATH SALTS

HOW TO MAKE THEM. Good cheap bath salts may be made by mixing together lib of sea salt (or bay salt); and loz of borax. Then shake the two together, adding a few drops of eau de cologne, oil of verbena opoponax ,or other scent liked (though the addition of the scent is only an improvement aijd not absolutely necessary). Put the mixture in a glass bottle and keep well corked when not in use. Bath salts may also be made by crushing washing soda and adding a few drops of some essential oil for perfume, stirring well and corking up as before.
