POLITICAL ADDRESS

MR WEBB AT MARTINBOROUGH. AN ATTENTIVE HEARING. (“Times-Age” Special.) The Hon. P. C. Webb, Minister of Mines, addressed a large gathering in the Parish Hall, Martinborough, on Saturday night. Mr Webb dealt at length with Labour’s administration during the past three years and also touched on aspects of the policy of the National Party. He was given a most attentive hearing and was accorded a hearty vote of thanks by acclamation. Mr Webb reached Martinborough only after a hazarduous trip through flooded roads. He will speak at Featherston tonight.
