NATIONAL PARTY FUNCTION. (“Times-Age” Special.) The Mauriceville branch of the N.Z. National Party will hold a social and dance in the Mauriceville Hall on Thursday, September 15. Mr J. H. Irving, the National candidate for the Masterton seat, will be present. The music will be supplied by Udy’s Orchestra. As popular prices will be charged the committee anticipates a large attendance. Personal. The friends of Miss Joyce Nielsen, of Mauriceville West, who underwent an operation in the Masterton Hospital on Wednesday will be pleased to learn she is making favourable progress towards recovery. Mrs I. Gallon (Masterton), is the guest of her sister, Mrs A. Forsberg, of Mauriceville West. Miss M. Trass is staying with friends at Tinui.
