SHARP FALL IN DUNEDIN PRICES Competition was restricted at the sale of rabbitskins at Dunedin on Tuesday. Owing to the unsettled state of the overseas market and a consequent lack of orders, prices showed a sharp decline of from 25 per cent to 30 per cent all over. Hatters’ grades commanded a fair demand at a decline of from Id to 4d per lb. In the winter grades, the drop in prices was more pronounced; bucks were easier by 22d to 26d per lb, and dees declined from lid to 19d per lb. Outgoing and spring bucks dropped from 6d to 22d per lb, while does were easier by 2d to 13d per lb. The following is the range of prices: —Small, 4d; summer broken, 12,|d; summer blood-stained. 12d; summers, 12.|d; runners, 12d; milky, 124 d to 15,?d; outgoing and spring broken, 20?,d; racks, 16d; spotty bucks, 50d; spotty does, 32d; second winter bucks, 61|d; second winter does, 38£d; first winter bucks, 75d; first winter does, 44d; outgoing bucks, 433 d; outgoing does, 26]d; first spring bucks, 263 d; second spring bucks, 14d; first spring does, 271 d; second spring does, 22d; summer fawn, 12d; outgoing fawn, 36£d; winter fawn, 56d; summer black, 6d; autumn black. lOd; winter black, 30d; outgoing and spring black, lid hareskins, lOd to 20d; hair, 18d.
