STRICT CENSORSHIP
IMPOSED BY JAPANESE IN SHANGHAI. IN SPITE OF BRITISH PROTEST. (Recd This Day, 11.35 a.m.) SHANGHAI, August 26. The Japanese authorities have issued a statement saying they are determined to impose the strictest censorship, on all messages, including business messages, despite a protest by the British Ambassador to China.
