OBITUARY

MR LESLIE JOHNS. The death occurred at the Masterton Hospital early yesterday morning of Mr. Leslie Johns, son of the late Mr and Mrs T. A. Johns, of Masterton. The late Mr Johns, who had been in illhealth for some months, was 50 years of age. He was 5 carpenter by occupation, and was very popular with those who' knew 'him; • He was a member of the St. John Ambulance and a keen worker in the interests of the Church of the Epiphany. The sympathy of a large number of friends will be extended to his widow and three daughters in their bereavement. He is also survived by three brothers, Messrs Ernest (Auckland), William (Taumaranui), and Bertram (Masterton).
