FAREWELL DINNER

NEW ZEALAND VISITORS TO AUSTRALIA. VAST LAND OF AMAZING POSSIBILITIES. SYDNEY, August 24. A farewell dinner was given yesterday to a party of 36 New Zealanders who have been touring New South Wales and Queensland since July 30. The leader of the party is Dr W. H. Simpson, of Christchurch. Twenty members are returning by the Maunganui, while the remainder will sail either by the Wanganella or the Aorangi. Dr Simpson said: “We are taking away a golden book of memories of the true Australia and the true Australian, and of a vast land of amazing possibilities and opportunities.”
