FOOTBALLER FAREWELLED (“Times-Age” Special.) Members of the Martinborough Football Club gathered on Friday night to farewell Mr J. Flynn, who; is leaving the district. On behalf. of the members of the club, Mr P. Lynch (club captain) presented Mr Flynn with a suitcase and rug. The recipient suitably replied. DANNY MALONE CO. Mr Danny Malone was enthusiastically received at the Town Hall last evening. His singing, which consisted mostly of old Irish songs, was greatly appreciated. Eileen and Robert Emmett (harp and violin) and Mr Ted Pratt (banjo), greatly pleased with their contributions.
