COMING OF AGE PARTY
GATHERING AT GREYTOWN. Mr and Mrs C. G. Bouzaid, of Greytown, entertained a large number of guests in the Crown Theatre on Saturday night to mark the coming of age of their daughter, Rosie. Visitors were, present from Wellington, Dannevirke, Masterton and other parts of the North Island and a most enjoyable time was spent. Dancing was indulged in and, at the banquet, Mr J. F. Thompson proposed the toast of Miss Rosie Bouzaid. Her health was drunk in bumpers, and that of Mrs R. Dawson, who had also reached her twenty-first birthday. Miss Bouzaid and Mrs Dawson suitably replied. Mr Barnard proposed the toast of Mr and Mrs Bouzaid, whom he stated were good neighbours and good citizens. Mr J. Bouzaid, of Masterton, replied on behalf of his parents. Mr J. C. Feast proposed the toast of “absent friends.” The function concluded with the singing of Auld Lang Syne and the National Anthem. Miss Bouzaid was the recipient of many handsome and costly presents.
