Hastings visitor to the Wairarapa is Mrs Hugh Armstrong. Mrs Tatham (Whareama), has returned from a visit to Auckland. Mrs Beryl Edwards, of Wellington, was a visitor to Carterton on Saturday. Miss E. A. Hobson, Hatuma, left yesterday for Masterton to attend the Girl Guiders’ camp. Miss M. Tocker, of Featherston, is visiting Dannevirke, where she is the guest of Mrs L. Tilley. 7 Mrs G. .Dickel, of Essex Street. Masterton, is, with her family, spending a holiday at Raumati Beach. Mrs A. Ross, of Greytown, is on a visit to Eketahuna, being the guest of her fnother, Mrs G. A. Farmer. Mrs Harold Baillie, of Eketahuna, will leave this week on a holiday which she intends to spend at Nelson. Mrs T. Bedding, who has been on a visit to Eketahuna where she was the guest of Mrs Marenzi, has returned to Paraparaumu. Miss Joyce Dickson, of Auckland, is spending her vacation with her parents, Mr and Mrs W. Dickson, Victoria Street, Masterton. Miss Avis Petersen, of Essex Street, Masterton, has returned from a visit to Palmerston North, where she was the guest of her sister, Mrs L. Brooks. Mr and Mrs D. Gibb Johnston, of Carterton, went to Wellington to meet their son David, who has returned from Christchurch for the term holidays. ; f CARTERTON Miss Hitchens, home science mistress for the South Wairarapa, whose headquarters are in ■ Carterton, is spending the term holidays in Napier. "Miss M. Shankland (Kent Street) and Miss E. Fisher (Costley Street), who are students at the Wellington Training College, are visiting their parents in Carterton. FEATHERSTON Mrs B. Julius is visiting her sister, Mrs Les. Smith, Pahautea. Miss A. Fellingham left yesterday on a visit to Hamilton.
