OLD ENGLISH FAIR. ’ (“Times-Age” Special.) An' old English Fair held in the Parish Hall yesterday being conducted by the members of the St. Andrew’s Anglican Church was a great success. In the evening an enjoyable entertainment was presented. The items included. a play by Miss Mahood’s pupils, a gavotte, by June Lynch, and Mary Burch, two folk dances in costume by Miss Hall’s pupils, a tap dance by Miss June Lynch, violin solo by Mr G. McLennan, a mystery ' item by Mr Brimble, two piano-accordeon solos by Miss Patsy Taylor, a dance by Standard VI girls, and a one-act comedy “A Quiet Little Dinner,” produced by Miss Mahood and acted by St. Andrew’s players (Misses Mahood, F. and M. Mitchell, J. Hall, Messrs Hayman, Bimble, and A. Beveridge).
