FRUIT STAINS
HOW TO REMOVE THEM. Fruit-stains can be removed by pouring boiling • water over them. If the stains are very old, however, use oxalic acid diluted. Wet the stain and rinse well in water, then apply ammonia and rinse in clear water. This method will also work as well if applied to ink and leather stains or iron mould.
