“THE CINGALEE”
FINAL REHEARSAL. A final ’ rehearsal of “The Cingalee” was held last evening in the Opera House and from the work done by the Amateurs everything points to an excellent production when the society opens its 1938 season tomorrow evening. Chorus, principals and orchestra are all at home in the work and assisted by a fine ballet, under Rona Edwards, splendid dressing and lighting effects, a very fine and spectacular production should be witnessed. The booking indicates large houses for each night but patrons should make a point of early booking for the season at the Arts and Crafts.
