WEDDING

WESTON—McKAY. ■At Knox Church yesterday afternoon Miss Molly McKay, daughter of Mrs. John McKay, East Taratahi, was married to Mr T. Weston, of Alfredton, the officiating minister being the Rev. J. Davie. . The bride, who was attired in navy blue with hat to match, wearing a silver fox fur and a pretty shoulder spray, was escorted by her brother, Mr J. McKay. - The bridesmaid was Miss Braithwaite, of Dunedin, who wore a navy and white ensemble and navy hat. The best man was Mr Jock Hayes, of Masterton. A pretty incident took place as the bride left the church when she stooped and kissed little Peter McLaren, whose nurse she had been for a long period of years. A large number of guests were entertained at the Country Women’s Club by Mrs McKay. The future home of Mr and Mrs Weston will be in Hawke’s Bay.
