WAIRARAPA ASSOCIATION COMPETITION. CARTERTON WINS B GRADE. There will be no more ordinary matches arranged by the Wairarapa Basketball Association. The arrangements for the next two Saturdays are as follow: — Saturday, August 13: Practice of representative A and B teams, commencing at 2 p.m. Saturday, August 20: A knockout tourpament to finish the season. Entries will be received by the secretary before Tuesday, August 16. Cups will be presented to the winning teams. The B grade has resulted as follows: — Team Plyd. Wins Loss. Pts.

As was previously announced the A grade has been won by Stars I with lona runner-up. All money for the Queen Carnival is to be handed into the secretary by Saturday, August 13.,
