FOUND HANGING

FEATHERSTON RESIDENT’S DEATH A well-known resident of Featherston, Sydney John Crawford, was found hanging this morning in a neighbour’s outhouse. The discovery was made at 7.15 o’clock by Mr H. Rolls, Town Clerk. Mr Crawford had been' missing since yesterday afternoon. The late Mr Crawford, who was about 52 years of age, had resided all his life in Featherston. At one time he was well known as a jockey, and had a reputation as a hurdler. He is survived by a widow. It is not known when the inquest will be held.
