A special meeting of greyhound and coursing enthusiasts will be held in the Odd Fellows’ Hall, Queen Street, Masterton, next Tuesday night. Opportunity will be taken to extend congratulations to the owners of local dogs which were successful at the recent Waterloo Cup meeting at Invercargill. Among the items to be discussed at the meeting is the possibility of having mechanical hare racing in the summer. A warm invitation is extended to ladies to be present. Supper will be provided by the ladies’ committee of the Wairarapa Coursing Club.
