Ottawa, Canada. —Canada extends to the Republic of Uruguay the benefits of the Intermediate Tariff under a government ruling which extends until October 30 the provisions of the existing treaty between the two countries. This extension is subject to termination by the coming into force before that date of the Trade Agreement now being negotiated between Canada and Uruguay.
