BAG MAKING

Use knitting silk as used for hairpin work and a medium bone crochet hook. Crochet two rounds about 3iin acress, then crochet these two rounds together and leave an opening of 2Jin. Go on crocheting all round like a mesh for a fishing net, until about 12in deep. When completed crochet two handles, about three thicknesses of the chain and thread through the top row a chain about 30 inches long. Finish off the ends with a crochet ring large enough to prevent the chain from pulling through. The bag Will fold into the double bottom .rather like a powder puff and is Very compact and handy.
