REVOLT IN CRETE
ACTION OF FEW HUNDRED MALCONTENTS GOVERNMENT GETS ASSURANCES OF SUPPORT. PRISONERS TO BE TRIED BY COURT-MARTIAL. (Recd This Day, 1.10 p.m.) ATHENS, July 31. The abortive revolt in Crete proved to be the isolated action of a few hundred hot-headed malcontents. ' The Government has received a great number of .messages from all parts of Greece, including Crete, disapproving of the rebels’ action. The captured rebels will be courtmartialled.
