« MASTERTON v. SHANDON. Masterton defeated Shandon by five games to two in a B grade Pennant match played at Lansdowne on Thursday. The scores were as follow, Masterton players being mentioned first in each instance:- —Miss Murray lost to Mrs Wells, 4 and 3: Miss Perry beat Mrs Dodson, 6 and 5; Miss Jury beat Mrs Edwards, 2 and 1; Mrs Fagan beat Mrs Adams, 1 up; Miss Jordan lost to Miss P. Hodgins, 2 and 1; Mrs Plummer beat Miss Dorset, 1 up; Miss Oates beat Mrs Bishop, 1 up.
