“ONE MILE FROM HEAVEN.” Singing on the screen for " the first time, Edith Fellows, Columbia’s child star, renders among others one number composed expressly for her picture, “Little Miss Roughneck.” at the Cosy Theatre tonight. The song is “As Long as I Love,”, a ballad. Appearing with Edith Fellows in “Little Miss Roughneck,” are Leo Carrillo, Scott Colton, Jacqueline Wells, Thurston Hall. A sensational story of a girl reporter who tracked down the story of the year is also brought to the screen in “One Mile From Heaven.” Claire Trevor, Sally Blane, Douglas Fowley, Fredi WasH® ington, and Bill Robinson are featured in the exceptional cast. Racketeering, shakedowns, thrills, and fun have their places in “One Mile From Heaven.” In the reporter’s hands rests the happiness of three people, while the front pages are held open for the blazing headlines that will ruin them. Into this tragic situation come the racketeers with their extortion plot to place more obstacles in the path of justice.
