ADVENTURES OF MARCO POLO. Samuel Goldwyn, producer of “Hurricane” and many outstanding attractions, now presents his greatest production, a mighty cavalcade of ' the world’s most amazing adventure, in “The Adventures of Marco Polo,” which will be shown at the State Theatre tonight at 7.45 o’clock, featuring Gary Cooper. Marco Polo’s journey to the Thirteenth Century court of the great Kublai Khan in Kambalu, Peiping, had as its object the extension of private commerce and the development of new trade opportunities for the Polo Brothers, Nicolo and Maffeo. Polo served Kublai Khan for 17 continuous years. He finally left as the Khan’s ambassador, charged with delivering the Circassfan-Tartar Princess, Kogatin, over in marriage to Argon, the elderly Shah of Persia and Eastern India. In the supporting cast are Basil Rathbone, Ernest Truex, George Barbier, Alan Hale, Binnie Barnes, and a cast of 5000'to complete one of the most imposing films of modern times. Owing to the fact that this attraction has broken previous theatre attendance records, one would be well advised to book early.
