CHINA’S UNITY
DETERMINATION to resist JAPAN. AFFIRMED BY PEOPLE’S CONFERENCE. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. The following cablegram has been received by the Chinese Consul from Hankow: "The People’s Conference unanimously confirmed the basic policy of China in reference to the war of resistance which was passed in Apul last by the National Congress pf the Kuomintang. Following the carrying of the resolution, there was continuous cheering by the delegates giving evidence of China’s unity and determination.”
