Coles have declared a final dividend on ordinary shares of 74 pel’ cent for the half-year ended June 30, together with a bonus of 6d a share, making 3s 6d a share for the year ended June 30. The total amount distributed to shareholders for the year,- including the dividend on preference shares, will be £200,346, compared with £183,224 for 1937.

WOOL IN LONDON ACTIVE COMPETITION AT SALES. (Recd This Day, 11.50 a.m.) LONDON, July 14. At the wool sales, 8.544 bales were offered, including 4,513 from New Zealand, and 6,605 were sold. There was a good selection and active competition from the home trade. Quotations: New Zealand greasy combing, Noondoo, lOd to 12d; Oakwood, Hid to 13,’d; scoured Merinos, Muller, 12d.
BRADFORD TOPS QUOTATIONS IN LONDON. (Recd This Day, 11.25 a.m.) LONDON, July 14. Bradford tops: Merinos, 70’s, 28d; 64’s, 26-Jd; 60’s, 24>d. Crossbreds: 58’s, 22d: 56’s, 20d; 50 s, 17d; 46’s, 16Jd (nominal); 44’s 16?>d (nominal). The market is dearer, with ,a fair amount .of new business.
