OFFICERS ELECTED BISHOP BENNETT PRESIDENT Following a trans-Tasman telephone call to Sydney, the Rt Rev F. A. Bennett, Bishop of Aotearoa, was yesterday elected president of the New Zealand Alliance. He is at present visiting Sydney in the course of a tour with his Maori choir. The officers were elected at the meeting as follows: —Vice-presidents: Mr John I Royds, Rev J. R. Blanchard, Mrs N.
