ONE MAN REGIMENT
THE NORTH IRISH HORSE LAST OFFICER RETIRES. LIST OF BATTLE HONOURS. (Recd This Day, 12.5 p.m.) LONDON, July 12. ' Britain's one man regiment, the North Irish Horse, will disappear tomorrow with the retirement of Major Sir Ronald Ross, upon reaching the age limit. Since the war, the rank and file of the regiment had terminated their engagements and all the other officers had reached the age limit. The regiment's battle honours include Mons, the Marne, the Aisne, Albert, Messines, Ypres, Bapaume and Cambrai.
