GOING TO KENYA
THE DUKE AND DUCHESS OF GLOUCESTER STAY OF SEVERAL MONTHS (Recd This Day, 12.5 p.m.) LONDON, July 12. After a busy year of engagements the Duchess of Gloucester has been advised to take a complete rest, for which reason the Duke and Duchess, instead of going to Scotland as they had intended, will leave shortly for Kenya, returning from there early in November. The Duchess before her marriage spent much time in Kenya, where she has an uncle, Lord Francis Scott, who owns “Deloraine,” one of the biggest farms in the colony. The Duke of Gloucester visited Kenya in 1928, in company with the Prince of Wales.
