BUILDING SOCIETY
MEETING OF SHAREHOLDERS A general meeting of Shareholders of the No 2 Workers Mutual Benefit Society was held last evening. Mr R. Krahagen, (chairman), presided over a fair attendance of shareholders. The meeting was called for the purpose of allocating £4OO by ballot in the No 2 Society, and for £BOO in the B Group of the Society. Mrs L. Kendall, Wellington, was the successful shareholders in the No 2 Society, and being the holder of two shares was declared entitled to a loan of £4OO free of interest. Mr C. M. Strouts, now of Wanganui, was the successful shareholder in the B Group, and being the holder of four shares was declared entitled to an advance of £BOO free of interest. A sum of £4OO was also sold by tender in the No 2 Society.
