Miss Carey, Second Street, Lansdowne, is on a short visit to Wellington.
Miss McGrath, Seatoun, Wellington, spent the week-end with Mrs McLagan, Dixon Street, Masterton. Mrs P. Carter, Lower Hutt, was a visitor last week to her mother, Mrs C. C. Jackson, Kopuaranga. Mr and Mrs H. Coom, Te Ore Ore, who have been staying at ' Rotorua, have returned to Masterton. Mr and Mrs Arnold, Lower Hutt, have ben staying with their daughter, Mrs H. P. Hugo, Renall Street, Masterton.
The following Masterton candidates have passed the State examination for maternity nurses: —L. Hancox (honours), M. K. Murray, R. M. Whitton.
Miss Ruth Fawcett, who has been visiting Masterton in connection with the work of the British and Foreign Bible Society, was the guest of Mrs E. J. Brown, Church Street, Masterton.
