NAVY LEAGUE
MASTERTON AUXILIARY. APPEAL FOR MEMBERS. A well attended meeting of the Ladies’ Auxiliary of the Navy League was held yesterday afternoon, Mrs A. Caselberg presiding. The meeting was called earlier in the month than usual, in order to make arrangements for the annual visit of Mr P. Darroch, secretary of the Navy League for New Zealand. Mr Darroch will be in Masterton on July 11, 12 and 13 and will address the pupils of private and secondary schools. An informal meeting will be held at the Midland Hotel on Tuesday next, to which all Navy . League members and friends, and representatives of other organisations have been invited to meet Mr Darroch and hear his address on the work of the Navy League. The president (Mrs Caselberg) appealed to the committee to obtain more members and to make the aims of the Navy League more widely known.
