ST. JOHN AMBULANCE

NURSING DIVISION MEETING A meeting of the senior branch of St John Ambulance Nursing Division was held in the Lecture Room on Thursday, and there was a good attendance of members. Miss Whitehouse, Lady Superintendent, took the class in questions on First Aid, which was very instructive. Further instruction on air raid precautions was given by Miss Barrer. Miss Whitehouse has commenced a class on First Aid for Girl Cadets. These classes are held in the lecture room on Thursday evenings from 6.30 o’clock to 7.30 o’clock. It is not too late for young girls who are desirous of taking this course to join and receive some very useful and practical knowledge. The secretary wishes to acknowledge donations from Mrs Whyborn, Misses Gillespie and Miss Carpenter.
