NEWSPAPER DISPUTE
SETTLEMENT IN HAWKE’S BAY. COMPANY'S TERMS ACCEPTED. HASTINGS, July 3. With the exception of a few men, the members of the departments affceted by the “Daily Mail” strike returned to work as usual. Following a discussion with the union secretary, the company’s terms were accepted. Although reorganisation is still proceeding in one department, the production of the newspaper has returned to normal.
